Introduce your child to the magic of open-ended play with the perfect starter building kit! This beautifully crafted small wooden rainbow stacker is an ideal Montessori first stacking set, designed to spark limitless imagination in young minds. Featuring 6 vibrant, graduated arches, this versatile toy can be instantly transformed into an open ended wooden tunnel, a bridge for toy cars, a cozy fence for wooden animals, or whatever your child's creativity allows. Made entirely from natural materials, this lime wood nesting puzzle showcases gorgeous, unique wood grains and natural markings, ensuring every single set is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. Beyond its incredible developmental value, these natural wood grain Waldorf toys look absolutely stunning decorating your nursery shelves while waiting to be played with.

Features
  • 6-Piece Small Design: The perfect starter set. Compact and lightweight, these 6 nested arches are designed specifically for little hands. It is an excellent introductory toy for young children to practice basic grasping, sorting, and balancing before moving on to larger, more complex building sets.
  • Embraces Natural Beauty: Uniquely yours. Because it is crafted from real wood, every rainbow carries unique marks, changing structures, and varied color absorptions made by nature. These beautiful variations are celebrated as proof of its natural origins and premium quality, not defects.
  • Endless Open-Ended Play: Driven purely by imagination. With no strict rules or interlocking mechanisms, children can stack the pieces vertically to create towering sculptures or separate them to build intricate landscapes, tunnels, and bridges for their small-world play scenarios.
  • Premium Lime Wood: Solid and durable. Crafted from high-quality natural lime wood (linden wood), the pieces offer a satisfying tactile weight and exceptional durability, ensuring the toy can withstand years of enthusiastic building and tumbling.
  • 100% Non-Toxic Finish: Safe for hands-on exploration. The vibrant colors are achieved using strictly child-safe, non-toxic, water-based color stains rather than thick, slippery paints. This provides a velvety, slip-resistant surface that makes balancing the wooden arches significantly easier for young children.

Just ok

It's okay. Nice colors but my kids honestly don't play with it much after the first day.

Smaller than expected

Kids mix these with their regular building blocks. It is a lot smaller than I pictured, but still a good toy.

exactly what i wanted. nice colors.

nice texture

good solid blocks. they aren't super smooth so they don't slide right off when my son tries to stack them up.

Good toy, plain packaging

Arrived in just a plain cardboard box which was kinda a bummer since it was a gift. The toy itself is nice though.

Nice but tiny

Good quality solid wood but a lot smaller than I thought it would be. Kids still play with it though so it's fine.

Great colors

Really pretty colors. The edges got a little scuffed after a few weeks of being thrown around, but my kids are pretty rough with their stuff.

Heavy duty solid wood

Before we even started stacking, we used these to practice naming the colors of the rainbow. The order is correct and the shades are very distinct, so it's a great hands-on educational tool. It’s a classic toy for a reason.

I was surprised by how heavy this little rainbow is! It's clearly cut from solid blocks of wood. Because they have some weight to them, they stay balanced much better than cheap, hollow plastic versions we've tried in the past.

Sometimes fewer pieces are better. My toddler gets overwhelmed with huge sets, but this smaller version is perfectly manageable for him. He can easily figure out the sequence from largest to smallest without getting frustrated.

I initially bought this just as a colorful decor piece for my baby's room because it's so aesthetically pleasing. Now that she's older, she actually pulls it down to play with it. It serves as both a durable toy and a nice pop of color for the room.

The colors are incredibly vibrant, almost neon, but there was absolutely zero chemical off-gassing smell when I opened the box. It just smelled like natural wood. My youngest is still mouthing toys occasionally, and the paint hasn't transferred or chipped at all.

We don't really use it as a nesting puzzle. My boys immediately turned the arches into tunnels and ramps for their toy cars. It's a great open-ended addition to their car tracks. The wood is thick enough that the "tunnels" don't get knocked over too easily.

Unlike some cheaper plastic or heavily varnished wooden toys, these have a slightly matte texture. This means the arches actually grip each other when you try to balance them in weird ways. My son loves making a tall tower out of just these few pieces.

We already have a giant 12-piece rainbow, but I bought this smaller one specifically to keep in the diaper bag. It's the perfect size to pull out at a restaurant to keep my toddler busy. It doesn't take up the whole table, and she still gets to practice her stacking.

Perfect size for travel

A lot of people complain about the size but I actually like it. It fits right in my diaper bag so we take it to restaurants to keep my daughter busy.

Watch the smallest piece

Really cute rainbow. I did have to hide the smallest purple piece because my baby keeps trying to chew on it. The rest of the pieces are great though.
