It’s a great desk, but one minor annoyance: because of the shelf underneath, you can't push the stools completely under the table when they aren't being used. They stick out just a little bit. Not a big deal, but something to note if you need it to be completely flush against a wall.

This desk solved our scattered toy problem. The fact that it holds the paper, the markers, the books, and has a little tray for small loose parts means her messy art projects stay on the desk and off my kitchen island. Highly recommend for tight spaces.

My boys are not gentle. They regularly stand on the stools to reach things on the bookshelf, and the stools haven't shown any signs of wobbling or cracking. The solid bamboo construction is definitely worth the price over particleboard alternatives.
