Whether it's a tea party, a block tower, or a matching game, these little pots always get used. The tops spin pretty smoothly on a flat surface. Solid, basic toy that gets the job done.

There really isn't much to them, but that's exactly why we like them. No flashing lights, just natural wood. The colors are slightly muted in person which looks great sitting out on the open toy shelf.

We often grab two or three of these and throw them in the diaper bag when going out to eat. They take up barely any space and keeping the tops spinning entertains my son while we wait for food.

These are definitely solid wood. My toddler has a throwing phase right now, and these have bounced off the hardwood multiple times without chipping or cracking. The color is stained into the wood rather than just painted on top, which really helps.

Taking the lids off and trying to put them back on the right colored base takes some focus for my 18-month-old. They fit perfectly in the palm of her hand. Simple and well executed.

The knobs on the lids look like little heads, so my youngest plays with them like peg dolls. It's a very open-ended toy. They feel smooth to the touch, no splinter worries to think about.

These somehow ended up in my kids' pretend kitchen as spice jars and magic potion bottles. I love toys that can be used for multiple things. The muted rainbow colors blend in nicely with our other wooden toys.

Good for color matching

I didn't realize the lids doubled as spinning tops until we opened the box. My son thinks it's hilarious to spin them across the kitchen floor. They are solid wood so they make a bit of noise when they drop, but they are very sturdy.

My daughter is constantly finding little rocks and beads, and these are now her designated hiding spots. The lids fit on nicely, though sometimes they get mixed up. The wood stain is pretty and doesn't look cheap.
