Because there is so much track and a few different train cars, my two boys can finally play together without fighting over one engine. They love figuring out how to connect all the loops to make one massive city.
We went with the jungle safari track and the wooden animals are a huge hit. It’s a nice change of pace from the standard city themes you usually see.
My three-year-old constantly walks right over his train tracks instead of stepping over them. I was worried these would snap at the puzzle joints, but they are incredibly sturdy solid wood. Not a single broken piece yet.
We chose the set with the battery-operated locomotive. It runs great on the flat tracks and around the curves, but sometimes it struggles to pull multiple cars up the red bridge incline. My kids don't mind though, they just push it by hand to help it along.
I appreciate that it's made from sustainable, certified wood. When we opened the packaging, there was no harsh chemical or paint smell at all. The little wooden trees and people figures are painted nicely and haven't chipped after weeks of rough play.

You get a ton of track for the price. It covers a large portion of our living room rug. Just a heads up, once you open the box, you'll never get all the pieces back in perfectly, so definitely invest in a plastic storage bin for cleanup time.
We got the city traffic version and the little buildings are adorable. What impressed me most are the magnets on the trains—they are actually strong enough to pull a long line of cars over the bridge without detaching constantly. The included play mat is a nice bonus for keeping the floor neat.
Works perfectly with our other wooden tracks!
The wooden pieces are smooth and don't splinter. My son loves the little working crane and spends ages lifting the cargo blocks into the train cars.
You get a lot of tracks and accessories for the price. The wooden pieces are sanded really smooth, so I don't worry about splinters. It took me a minute to figure out the layout from the picture, but we mostly just free-build now anyway.
My kids really like the white modern high-speed train that comes with this. It glides really smoothly over the bridges. It's a great classic toy to have in the house, just be prepared to step on a stray wooden tree every now and then!
We’ve had this set for a few weeks and it’s surviving daily play. The paint on a couple of the trains got slightly chipped after being thrown across the room, but the tracks themselves are indestructible.
The waterfall and little slide feature are super unique. The kids love sending the trains down the hill. The plastic slide piece pops off if they get too rough with it, but it snaps right back on. Overall a solid toy.
Good value, smooth wood
Cute farm details, tracks better on hard floors
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the wood. A huge plus is that these tracks connect perfectly with the other expensive name-brand wooden tracks we already own. The magnetic trains are fun, though my toddler gets mad when he tries to connect them backwards and they repel!
We got the set with the working crane and it's by far my son's favorite part. He loves lifting the cargo. There are quite a few small trees and signs that end up scattered everywhere, so we use a basket to keep the extra pieces organized.
The little wooden cows and pigs are adorable. The wood feels solid and there was no chemical smell when we opened it. The tracks connect well, but they do slip apart a little easier on our thick living room rug compared to the hardwood floor.
My kids absolutely love this train set. The tracks fit together nicely and it keeps them busy for ages. Just a warning, once it's fully built, it takes up a lot of floor space, so we ended up moving it to a dedicated play table.
got the 82p farm town for easter. really cute setup. magnetic trains connect great.
Setting up the Wooden Train Track Table was surprisingly straightforward with the illustrated guide. Having a dedicated space for the railway system has kept our living room so much cleaner. The compatibility with major brands means we could immediately use all our old trains on this new setup without any frustration.
urban universal traffic set is totally worth it. no batteries needed is the best part. love it.
The Castle Tracks variation is absolutely beautiful and brings a unique magical element to a standard train set. The solid wood construction is exceptional and feels like an heirloom toy that we can pass down for generations. It really helps my daughter develop her logical thinking as she figures out how to route the trains through the castle gates.
10/10 for the heavy construction set. works perfect with our melissa and doug tracks. keeps him busy for hours.
We upgraded to the 120P Town Double-Track because we have two boys who needed more space to play together. The double-track design is brilliant for preventing arguments over who gets to push their magnetic train. I am giving it four stars just because it takes up a massive amount of floor space, but the quality is undeniable.
82p jungle track is awesome. my toddler loves the little trees and animals. super easy to connect.
The Building Block Train Table is a fantastic investment for our playroom. It keeps all the tracks elevated so the kids aren't crawling on the floor, and the free locomotive included was a great bonus. The wood quality is premium and completely smooth, giving me total peace of mind regarding safety.
got the spiral beech wood set. electric train is cool but drains batteries pretty fast. wood tracks are super solid tho. 4 stars.
We bought the 92P City Seaside Tour set for my son's third birthday and it is absolutely wonderful. The wooden tracks fit perfectly with our existing Brio pieces, and the seaside theme adds so much imaginative value to his play. It is entirely battery-free, which I love because it really encourages his hands-on fine motor skills.
