I love the log-cabin aesthetic of the rounded armrests and frame. It looks so much more charming than a metal or plastic swing set. The seat depth is perfect for lounging with a book, but you'll definitely want to buy a weather-resistant cushion to put on the wooden slats for longer sitting sessions.

Assembly is a two-person job simply because the top beam is heavy. A word of caution: when assembling the slatted backrest and seat, use a hand screwdriver, not a drill.

The A-frame design is solid and doesn't rock when my kids are swinging. It supports my husband's weight easily too.

I love that you can configure this in a straight line or a zigzag. The wooden connector pegs keep everything securely attached. They were a little tight to push in the first few times we set it up, but they've loosened up just enough now that my 4-year-old can help me build the course.

Once it's assembled, two adults can easily pick it up and move it to a different part of the yard if needed. We move ours onto the patio when we mow the lawn. Despite being easy to move, it doesn't feel flimsy at all when you are sitting in it.

The natural, unfinished look of the rounded logs gives it a great cabin vibe. My kids pretend it's their treehouse furniture. The hardware feels heavy-duty, and the chains seem thick enough to last for years without rusting.

Make sure the spot you choose in your yard is completely level. Our lawn has a slight dip, and it caused the whole frame to rock slightly when swinging. We ended up having to put a paving stone under one leg to level it out.

I was worried about the kids getting splinters from the log-style armrests, but all the wood has been sanded down incredibly well. The armrests are thick and smooth, making them easy for little hands to grip when they are swinging.

It's perfect for kids and average-sized adults

We set this up under our oak tree, and it looks like it belongs in a catalog. It’s incredibly charming. The slatted back is quite comfortable, even without cushions. It’s become our favorite spot to sit and read with the kids in the evenings.

Don't try to put this together by yourself. Holding the heavy crossbeam while trying to align the leg bolts is definitely a two-person job. The instructions were mostly clear, but be careful not to overtighten the bolts on the seat slats, or the wood might crack.

The A-frame design distributes the weight really well, and it doesn't sink into our lawn too much. It feels very stable when an adult and a child sit on it together.
